                              RESOLUTION NO. 21580
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
                 STATE OF TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN
                 SERVICES, RELATIVE TO THE FAMILIES FIRST
                 PROGRAM, FOR A CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
                 TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE
                 AND 45/100 DOLLARS ($25,751.45).

       	    	 WHEREAS, the Chattanooga Area Urban League has requested
       that a portion of funds previously appropriated to them be used 
as
       matching funds for a State Department of Human Services Grant; 
and
       	    	 WHEREAS, the Mayor has signed an Agreement with the
       State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services, relative to the 

       Families First Program;
       	    	 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
       THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Agreement with the
       State of Tennessee, Department of Human Services, relative to the 

       Families First Program, for a contract amount not to exceed
       $25,751.45, is hereby ratified.
